Madhuri dixit is famous Indian actress who is famous for her roles in Hum Aapke Hain Koun. Her career began in the her twenties. The role she played as Anil Kapoor in the film Tezaab made her hugely popular. Her next role was in Dil which she was on screen with Aamir. In Mumbai the city she was born by middle class parents. When she was a young age, she started to study dance. When she was young began acting, but was not successful as a lot of her movies were unsuccessful. Then, she discovered success with Indian cinema and rose to the very top. In the aftermath of her wedding ceremony, she took a short break from her acting career until she returned. Recently, she played a prominent role in Gulaab Gang. The film focused on the struggles of women in India. Dixit was awarded 8 Filmfare Awards out of the 15 she was up for nominations. Padma Shri - the fourth highest civilian honor in India - was given to Dixit. Also, she has earned a name as a social activist.
